Panchris Animal Premix LTD has implemented Fission LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) system for its department of Chemical Laboratory Services.
Panchris Animal Premix is an experienced company operating in the animal nutrition industry, located in Larnaca Cyprus. The company was established in 1999 to service the local market and today the company has grown with export activities that include Europe, Middle East and Africa.
One of the services that Panchris Animal Premix (under the name Pankemi Lab) offers to its international customers is the service of Chemical Analysis. In meeting with the high demands of the industry with regards to efficiencies, ISO quality control and with enhanced customer experience, Panchris implemented the LIMS solution Fission LIMS.
Fission LIMS is a software application that has been developed by Cosine Consultants Ltd which is one of the few professional IT solutions provider in Cyprus that has developed a LIMS solution that meets today’s demanding industry standards. Cosine Consultants was established in 1999 with the vision of providing high caliber IT software applications to serve both the local industry and the international agencies. Fission LIMS is a comprehensive solution for laboratory automation. It facilitates sample collection, label tracking, identification and logging, test results registration and customer invoicing. Also included is comprehensive reporting and advanced communication capabilities such as automated e-mail, fax and e-portal and data export to popular formats such as Excel and PDF.
In deploying Fission LIMS, Panchris Animal Premix Ltd will achieve dramatic improvement in business process efficiency, accuracy and traceability, allowing it to focus on its core business which is to concentration on the data interpretation rather than data gathering, transfer and processing. In addition Fission LIMS is a paperless system which will permit Panchris in being more environmentally friendly, which is in alignment to EU’s “Going Green” initiative.
Upgrading Pankemi LAB operations co-funded by the European Social Fund of the European Commission and the Goverment Budget under the "Subsidy Scheme to facilitate the shift from Low Productivity Employment Positions to High Productivity Employment Positions" of the Cyprus Productivity Centre.
